Well I have played for around half an hour. I have never died so much... Looks a lot like BC2, plays a lot like BC2.
I wish EA/DICE wouldn't do snow! it's blinding!!!
It would appear to be a fragfest on the public servers.
It suffers from some of the same problems as BC2 like frequent disconnect. Everything is dependant on the central servers just like BC2 so if it's fooked than you don't get to play. If it drops it's connection for any reason you get dumped out of the game.
If you think BC2 is a good game then I think you will like MoH, if you think BC2 is a bit crap then this isn't going to help...
At best this is a new single player story and some new maps for BC:2 with a MoH title. At worse it's a poor reskin with bad game play.
BC:2 infantry only, but not in a good way.
This of course could all be bollox cos I'm pissed off with a kdr of 3/19! It might be great with a load of us on together.

Second thoughts... The smaller map sector control is more fun. That is sort of counter-intuitive for me. I normally like bigger maps with objectives. Sector control is like BF flag capping but way close together. Might just be because it's a well designed map with lots of good cover. I'm not sure I understand cos all previous experience tells me I should hate it but I don't. Odd!

The DICE guys on the official forum mention running it in Admin mode. Right click the icon when you start the game and run as administrator.

First impression is good.
+set net_port 6140 seems to fix connection problems when connecting two computers to one network...
My game name is of course: tankloosecannon, too bad we cant use stripes in our game tag. Think [44] will do just fine then??

Pointless exercise .........unable to logon. Obviously by the time they fix this minor issue the beta will be closed and all EA will have succeeded in doing is convincing myself and several hundred others not to waste their money on a pile of shite..............

It's not a pile of shit but the connection issues it was having at first were infuriating. They would appear to be fixed now and what you have is quite a good game.

I must admit the more I played last night the better it got. Sorry to the guys with older kit but it runs a dream on my PC. The only time I had lad issues was when a "High Pinger" was near by, but if we were to have a server we would be kicking the high pingers.
If we do get a server for this then I think a three month rental would be a better use of the money. By then we will know if CoD:BO is the real deal or a fake like MW2 was.

Ill wait and see until A version comes out. B version is good graphic and sound, but I guess the connection is bad - course I cant kill any1 unless they dont see me at all (but U cant see the ping in the game).
After all the camping in the only map we played so far, I do hope the maps gets better. 3-4 people playing at the rest camping, is not a gametype I like - tried that in Battlefield. So I cross my fingers and hope the maps improves.
