Graphics: Coming from BF:3 it looks a little cartoon~ish however within a few minuets play that feeling goes away. It's not cinematic in the way BF:3 is but in general the graphics are good.
Performance: If runs real smooth, I know I have a monster rig but that said the game runs a fair bit faster than BF:3. On max settings I'm seeing the game hit the 200fps limit, The lowest I have seen is 120. BF:3 dips lower than this for me.
Game Play: What can I say it's CoD! fast fluid game play. I only played Hard core S&D. As such HardCore is proper HC. One or two bullets on target will kill every time. As I was playing S&D so there was no time for people to get the big kill streaks and I didn't see much if any silly crap. Also as everyone was at a lower rank people so that hadn't unlocked the crazy kit.
Maps: They are complex with changes in hight. Small rooms and cut through's off the main routes. There is a mix of long and short range (100m+) and closer stuff. Also there is stuff to climb over and climb on top of. So an area you wouldn't have been able to get to on MoH you can on BO2. So many times in Warfighter I see a place I want to get to but can't, in BO2 you probably can.
Getting in to a game: There is no server browser. It's all quick match and party join. The Quick match works, not my favorite but this is the way games are going. It was real simple I told it what type of thing I wanted and within a few seconds I was in a lobby. Less than 30s I was in a game. Way, way quicker than Warfighter. As I was playing on my own I have no real idea how well the party system works. However the server I was playing on did have a hand full of clan guys. I think they were having TS issues as they were chatting on screen about it. So I guess if they can get on line together I guess we can too. You do spend way less time looking at loading screens than with Warfighter.
To sum it up, It's CoD! Looks nice, runs well, nice maps, people die when you shoot them! Fast and smooth.
