It could be any, all or one of the following but COD:WWII did nothing for me....
1. I have a shit computer, with a shittier graphics card 2. Its a beta its meant to be shit until they fix it 3. I like most of you have become too old and slow to play this sort of game 4. What's supposed to be different, you run around and get shot, a lot in my case 5. It wasn't fun or enjoyable

I don't have an issue with the gameplay, it gets a lot better once you unlock some better options. Not just that the weapons get better but you get more options like smoke so now you can counter the snipers.
The pace of the game is really fast and again I'm OK with that but I don't think anybody of our age is going to want to play for more than half hour to an hour or so. It's a bit intense.
I do question cost vs longevity. It's not a cheap game, once you have forked out for the main game plus all of the DLC you are going to be in for one heck of an investment. What for? a game you quit out of every time you play it because it's exhausting. There is also the question of system specs needed to run it. Smoggie was complaining about lag, well that's because his PC is only just powerful enough to run it. This is the computer he just bought last month! It sounds like Mary's PC can't run it well either. I have a screenshot of it using over 8Gb of system RAM, 8 Gig! FFS!!
So if the whole clan buy it and play it then I will stump up the cash and play it too. It's not terrible and I quite like intense fragfest.
I still think that Insurgency or Day of Infamy is better. They can be just as intense but also you can slow the game down. It would be nice if a few of you were willing to try Day of Infamy it's a nice WWII shooter and better than CoD: WWII. Heck, Rambow 6 can be fun playing coop and I have only played a couple of rounds but could see us play that some more. I have been playing some Fortnite Battle Royal and that's a lot of fun and at least it's free.
The Next version of Insurgency is coming out next year and that should be on our radar for a future game. Just for Mary, the graphics will be much better.
Right now we have so many good games to choose from most cheaper than CoD, some completely free. So as I said if we choose CoD than I will join in but if we don't I'll not be upset as we have more than enough to play and have fun with.
