Although World War 3 has had some "teething" issues after it had been deployed it still looks like it could be a very good game to run in line with what we are all used to playing and enjoy, the main issues they are having are server connectivity issues it could be many reasons but they have thrown quite a bit of bug fixing at it in a flustered attempt of trying to save their game from a quick death as users are complaining in their droves. So big question is should we invest the between £20-£24 it costs for the game and get in early ? I for one am leaning toward buying this and run with it once the server issues have been resolved it would be good if we could also get a feel on who else would be inclined to be invloved in this new venture ? Watched the video's and it does look quite good. Saw a lot of BF influence in the maps.Might be worth a punt.

It looks interesting, if (and it's a big IF) it runs well it's not overly expensive a game. If a couple of peeps bight the bullet and give it a go they can then report back to the rest of us.

Okay bought this last night (Sunday) the character is very is easily customized, you get basic weapons and several classes at the moment there are 4 eastern european cities currently used as maps, Berlin, Warsaw, Smolensk but they are adding more soon apparently it has air strikes, Artillery strikes etc you have to earn these they cannot be bought at the moment, you have some vehicles which are able to be customized for weapons, turrets etc, Quad Bike, APC and a tank on my first game so far but for £24 which in the world of gaming isn't much I've taken the plunge, currently it seems to take a long time to load though

Bit the bullet and bought it. And I'm quite happy with my purchase. There is a lot of potential in this game and I think I'll be holding off on buying BF5 for the time being.

Perfect game for Smoggie some very powerful sniper weapons, scopes etc, some areas a made for sniping but the underground stations and in house urban fighting you will come unstuck you need an automatic weapons in those close confines. I confess at the moment there is a smattering of knobheads sitting camping spawn points but as the devs say its early release and is nowhere near completion there is a big update for this next week to cure a few ills. even in the state it is in now in far in advance of insurgency Sandstorm but almost breaches the barrier between BF and Insurgency.
I'm enjoying it so far but need to learn what all the specials do such at airstrikes, drones etc

I have finally got the game to run, I bought it a couple of days ago and was having all sorts of errors. The damn thing refused to start. I had to stop a service in task manager but finally got to play.
Looks OK if not great, somewhat muddy with poor textures. I little like looking at the world through dirty glasses. Movement is good, gunplay feels a little disconnected but time to kill is good. I will keep an eye on the game as I much prefer the game setting. I never thought I would say it but WWII setting has passed it's prime. Well at least for a Battlefield type game. Close quarters, small map it's OK but I feel that large map combined operations type game needs to be modern combat. An infantry soldier needs more toys at his disposal to combat the armour to ensure that you don't feel powerless when on foot.
First impressions are a solid B+ for this game. If Battlefield V is a washout this game could keep us busy for a while. The price is a little more easy to swallow which is not a bad thing. A £60 games sort of has to be good, if not perfect. A game that costs only £25 can have some wrought edges and still be fine.
