As you can see I have made a new section to the forum. Why? well I have read something interesting.
As you guys know I help out on another forum as a moderator and contributor to the web site. The FPSadmin site is well regarded by the community and developers. We have a section of the forum were the DICE devs hang out, and work with admin tool makers. Anyhow the guy that owns the site "Rudedog" is high enough up the greasy pole to be recognised by MS and get invites to official events. He is known not to pander to the big publishers, not taking adds from them and maintaining his independence. He is defiantly on the side of the players and tells it how it is, if it's crap then it's crap!
I trust his judgement.
He has spent the day with EA in LA being shown the new MoH. He is contracted not to say anything until the 15th of June.
Before the event
I'm currently attending a MOH community / prevue event here at EALA along with about 42 other people from across the globe
We'll be looking at single player but will get some hands on with the multiplayer side of things. We'll also be sitting down with a number of dev groups here at EA including some of the dice guys
Bad news is we'll be under an embargo until around E3
Should have some cool pictures tonight from the after hour activities planned
Note this trip has been paid for by EALA
After the event...
They should put " under new management" on the box because Greg Gingerich is no Patrick Gilmore.
He stayed in the room asked us more questions then we. Spent time with us and to tell you the truth reminded me of a MW1 grant collier.
I was asked if I'd buy this game. HELL YES!!!!!
More info when I get home and have a decent connection and a real keyboard. About 2-3 hours. About the event ea staff. Full info is embargoed until June 15th
Get ready everyone it just started to get interesting.
My read on this, between the lines is we are going to get a proper "Clan Game" one that can be run on dedi-servers. I believe it will be technically much like BC2 but will feel like MoH. These of course are my opinions, but Rudedog says... "I was asked if I'd buy this game. HELL YES!!!!!" and that is good enough for me.
