does it make the game more adrenalin fueled? I wanted to like ARMA but i found it tedious having to walk for fecking ages to get back to the action, only to get shot when I nearly got there! having said that there was a map where you did spawn nearer to the action after being dead maybe if its a bit more like this I should give it another go?

Arranging transport is part of the game. Reviving dead players is also a big part of the teamwork element. The game will never be as fast paced as BF4, but one were you have to be more careful with your lives.

I know that pen, and that IS one of the reasons I was interested in playing in the first place to be fair. I just found it VERY unforgiving when I was playing, and therfore for me anyway felt like it was punishment and not much 'fun' if that make sense?
As well as game time not being abundant for me you get caught between a rock and a hard place.
Games like ARMA need a LOT of your time and attention if you are to reap any rewards (of which I am sure there are loads of)

I think you may be right, pip, Gaddo and me will often play for several hours at a time. For me it's always been a Sunday afternoon type of game. Not beer and laughs... We have BF4 coming very soon so that will take most people attention.
