Given the detail of the game map you can see why the Greek government got a little pissed off with the game developers. copy and paste the whole line in you your web browser. www.google.co.uk/maps/@39.841747,25.3254999,52128m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en

looks pretty much the same to me
wonder if they modeled the WHOLE island identically to the real thing? they will have probably added some 'artistic license' stuff to make the map a bit more interesting i would have thought
wonder if there are any real world secrets, artifacts or hidden areas on the actual island that if you researched the place online you could go and look for them in game to see if the developers have hidden those same areas or artifacts?

I was just messing about with Google maps. Zooming in and out just looking at stuff. I started with the Crimea and the Ukraine as it's in the news. I have always liked maps. As for Limnos/Altis. The main details are artistic as ArmA is set in the future. So the game map has wind turbines and solar generators. It's not building for building identical but the height map is the same. This is a much closer representation of the real world than Chernarus is of the Czech Republic. LINK to image
